Year-end season of giving

Especially this holiday season, we’re encouraging all divisions members to participate in giving and helping raise funds to fight the scourge of suicide.

Some of our Division Chairs have taken the time to write what it means to be a member of their division, describe the importance of their work, and the critical nature of their division’s efforts in preventing suicide.

Student   - Check with mental health/suicide prevention groups on campus to see about any ongoing activities and volunteer to assist with planning.  - Ask a professor to briefly speak to their class about suicide prevention. Have someone record your talk or make a Facebook Live for others to see and share.

Loss Survivors   - Share resources via social media like information about your local  Survivors of Suicide group   - Help plan an event, like a candlelight vigil, community discussion, or similar opportunity. Check with local suicide prevention groups or coalitions for more information.
